Modeled on John Szarkowski’s classic book Atget, Geoff Dyer’s newest book The Street Philosophy of Garry Winogrand features one hundred photographs from the Garry Winogrand Archive at the Center for Creative Photography (CCP). In addition to presenting the story of the book’s creation and his experiences researching at the CCP, Dyer will take us on a wildly original journey through both iconic and unseen images from Winogrand’s vast archive, with responses to the photographs that are unorthodox, funny, and eye-opening.
